Radar targets simulator
To effectively develop and test target tracking algorithms, radar targets simulator is developed, featuring:
- simulated echoes in video frequency band up to 5 MHz
- programmable noise and target echo level
- non-fluctuating and fluctuating echoes (according Swerling 1 and 2 models)
- up to 16 targets
- selectable echo width 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1 μs
- programmable pulse repetition frequency from 500 Hz to 4 kHz
- programmable antenna revolution rate from 10 to 60 rpm
- simulated antenna beam shape effect
- programmable antenna beam width from 1 to 2 degrees
Radar sensor fusion analysis tool
Developed in Matlab®, provides analysis and algorithm comparison (in terms of error mean and deviation), of various user-definable fusion algorithms, e. g. algorithm that doesn't take into account some parameters, such as sensors cross-covariance, local sensors covariances etc.
Tool is based on the distributed fusion model with synchronous sensors and target dynamics is estimated as discrete kinematic model of the second kind, i.e. piecewise constant white acceleration model.
Fusion process covariance test.
Fusion algorithm efficiency test.
